Fumi is an outstanding guide. My mother is a vegetarian and Fumi found a vegan-friendly restaurant for her near the bus station, and then arranged a taxi to see a couple of shrines and the gorge. She also communicated with our Ryokan to arrange a vegetarian breakfast. She was polite and kind throughout our tour and made it a special visit for us. Thank you Fumi!

Ikue was really accommodating and a great guide. Even though the weather surrounding our time in Takachiho wasn't great, Ikue helped us make the best of it!
We spent a day with Hitomi while on a cruise of Japan. She met us at the port, and we traveled to the Aoshima shrine. It was a rainy day, but Hitomi was very knowledgeable, and the shrine was beautiful. After the shrine, we had a traditional Japanese lunch that was very good, and then visited the bedrock bath which was a fun and very unique experience. I highly recommend it, and Hitomi was terrific the whole day.

Wonderful day in Hososhima-visited sites we agreed upon, had added enjoyment of experiencing extra cultural and language information. Very helpful with husband, a slow and unsteady walker.
