Hakone is the beautiful national park within one hour bullet train ride from Tokyo, one of the busiest city in the world. Along the golden route, we'll move with our pace enjoying views of Mt.Fuji and seasonable scenes of the nature. Additionally we'll customize our tour based on your preference such as 1)ART, 2)LIFE&CULTURE, 3)HISTORY, and 4)GOURMET.

Mt.Fuji viewpoints: Owakudani valley, Motohakone pier, Onshi park, Narukawa Muesum, Mt.Koma
Owakudani volcanic valley: Looking down craters from 130m-high ropeway, Geopark Museum, Kuro Tamago
Lake Ashi: 25 minutes cruising to see Hakone mountains, green forest and red gate of Hakone shrine
Hakone shrine: established in 8th century and worshiped by Shogun. One of power spots in Kantou region
Open Air Museum: You can walk in the nature and meet with lots of masterpieces.
Onsen: You can choose public or private onsen.
Amasake Chaya: 400 years old tea house serving Amasake very healty and called as drinking drip
Odawara station (Shinkansen) or Hakone Yumoto station (Odakyu romance car) or hotel in Hakone area
STANDARD route includes multiple Mt.Muji viewpoints, Gora park, Owakudani volcanic valley, Lake Ashi cruising by the pirate ship, Hankone checkpoint, Onshi park, old ceder road, and Hakone shrine. One note is that based on the weather conditions we cannot see Mt.Fuji.
OPTIONS based on your preference, we will add some of below items and adjust the schedule if the time allows.
1)ART preference: Open Air Museum(sculptures)/Pola Museum(Western and Japanese paintings)/Narukawa Museum(Japanese paintings)
2)LIFE&CULTURE preference: Onsen (pubic or private)/Hakone Museum(Japanese garden and tea)/Hakone Zaiku(handmade wooden crafts and puzzle box)/ Nakazawa sake maker(tasting Sake)
3)HISTORY preference: Old Tokaido walking and Amasake Chaya(400 years old tea house)/Odawara castle (restructured after 500 years)
4)GOURMET preference: Washoku (traditional Japanese cuisine)/Odawara pier(Fresh seafood)/Ramen restaurant (Japanese noodle)
Guide fee, Hotel pick up in Hakone or Odawara area.
All transportation fee, lunch, entrance fee for you and guide.
I can guide you in Hakone and Odawara area if you pay my transportation fee.
1.We may not see Mt.Fuji in case of bad weather.
2.Walking shoes are recommended.
3.Plan may be adjusted because of the weather or traffic conditions.
As for transportation, Odakyu FREE PASS is recommended. It does cost JPY 4,000 per adult for 2 days pass. FREE PASS covers almost all transportation after Odawara including mountain trains, funicular(cable car), ropeway, pirate ship, buses in Hakone.

Narukawa Museum: JPY 1,300 per adult
Public onsen: from JPY 1,300 per adult
Private onsen: from JPY 5,000 for 4 people per hour

Kochi is a fantastic guide. It was the middle of the summer and very hot and Kochi helped readjust our day so that we could still see the sights and keep cool (as much as possible). He was also very helpful before the trip and helped to arrange several other activities. His communication is fantastic and he genuinely wants you to have the best time. Kochi planned our day well and according to our preferences. He was knowledgeable and very pleasant company as well. He arrived promptly and made sure we didn't miss anything on the itinerary. We had a great day with Junichiro Koichi. He was kind, interesting to talk with and made sure we had a good day.
