Frequently Asked Questions

A letter from my cutomer

Aloha Zumi san,

On behalf of Mr. and Mrs. Les Murakami, Mr. and Mrs. Richard Sato and my wife and I, we extend our heartfelt appreciation for your services during our stay in Osaka and Kyoto. Your assistance was invaluable in making this trip filled with fond and happy memories. This is especially true for Mr. and Mrs. Murakami as it has been over 20 years since their last visit to Japan. As you well know, it is so difficult for them to travel to Japan without assistance and the services you provided made it all possible.

Autumn in Japan is one of the best seasons and we were able to visit so many places in Osaka, Nara and Kyoto. Although we encountered some rainy conditions, you kindly adjusted our schedule enabling us see just about everything on the itinerary. One example of the extraordinary service you provided relates to us enjoying the train ride along the Hozu River on the Saga Scenic Railway. Initially, there were no tickets available; however, your wife, Akiko san, made a special effort, on her day off from work, to secure tickets for us to enjoy the autumn foliage on this rail journey. We also enjoyed having Akiko san spend the rest of the afternoon on tour with us.

Zumi san, you made it all possible for us to have such as wonderful vacation. We are all amazed and thankful that you were able to do so much handling the wheelchair for Mr. Murakami. Having seen the full extent of your services, we will recommend you to our friends who need wheelchair assistance and who are interested in visiting the Kansai area.

All of us wish you and your family continued good health and success with your business.

GOKURO SAMA DE SHITA.

George Sakurai

Friendly, professional and knowledgeable guide

Had a great experience with Zumi-san! He brought us from Kyoto to Nara and then to Kansai airport. He was prompt in communication and punctual. He is conversant in English and friendly. His vehicle is clean, comfortable and large. He navigated the roads with ease and drove smoothly. He walked with us, explained details to us, and answered our questions patiently. We had my elderly mother with us and he was careful to check with her if the walking and climbing was fine for her. Grateful to him for the good memories!

Outstanding guide who could not do enough for us

Zumi is a delightful man, with excellent English. He is most considerate and in planning our day with him he was very flexible to accommodate my wife’s limited walking ability. Zumi met as at Kyoto station as we disembarked from our train from Osaka. He brought his van to the station exit. We then drove us around to all the sites on our agreed itinerary. He is very knowledgeable. I’m an avid photographer and he was so helpful in putout good photographic opportunities. We asked him to join us for lunch and selected a delightful traditional restaurant. We cannot recommend him highly enough.

Osaka, Kobe, Kyoto and Nara from 14-21 April 2024

Zumi is our guide from 14-21 April 2024 to our family comprising of 6 adults (1 on wheelchair) and a toddler. Zumi is instrumental in planning our itinerary which included Osaka, Kobe, Kyoto and Nara as well as fetching us from the airport/sending us to the airport. We enjoyed our trip very much having Zumi as our tour guide. We are extremely grateful towards Zumi as he went the extra mile by volunteering to push the wheelchair user especially when our maid is exhausted. Zumi has been a great help in assisting the maid with any slopes, hills and rough surfaces. Zumi is an exceptional and fantastic guide with strong communication skills and a great command of English. He is very helpful, enthusiastic, energetic and empathetic guide. Zumi is also very punctual, flexible and willingly accepts our last minute/adhoc requests and engages/shares his in-depth knowledge about the sights as well as information about local traditions, historical sites, museums with us. We would like to take this opportunity to express our deepest appreciation towards Zumi. Best wishes to your loved ones and "addition" to the family. We highly recommend Zumi as the TOUR GUIDE!!
