Here's a perfect tour for those who want to explore both traditional Japan and Japan's pop culture all in one day!
We'll start from Meiji Jingu, one of the most famous Japanese Shrines, and then move on to Harajuku, and Shibuya where all the new pop culture of Japan is concentrated in!
At your hotel (within the 23 wards of Tokyo)
Meeting at your hotel lobby (within the 23 wards of Tokyo)
I'll show you how locals worship to the gods, and give you a brief explanation of the Shrine and its history.
We'll enjoy the walk in the woods leading to the Shrine, and visit a few photo spots along the way.
This is one of the best places to find cheap, but good quality souvenirs!
We'll walk through Takeshita Street, where you can find the new Japanese fashion trends, and then move to Shibuya, where you'll be able to experience crossing the world's famous Scramble Crossing, go for more shopping, look at some of the newest shopping malls, etc.
There's so much to explore, so let me know a few things you'd specifically want to try in these two cities.
We will either have Okonomiyaki (savory pancake), Ramen, Sushi on conveyor belts, or any other food that you'd want to try!
Let me know your budget and request, and I will give you several options to choose from!

Ayaka’s English is impeccable and her knowledge of local history and customs was very insightful. Would recommend highly if you need a guide while in Tokyo.
My tour guide, Ayaka, provided an amazing experience, which exceeded my expectations. She planned the tour exactly based on my request and provided insightful context covering history, geography, culture, and recent developments. She is very knowledgable, professional, flexible, and provided an excellent service. She is a talented individual with the right skills and an asset to your company. Thank you Ayaka. I learned quite a bit and looking forward to the future encounters. Best/Fabian
As a first time traveler Tokyo was so intimidating and scary but Ayaka made my first time so memorable! She was more like a friend than a pure business type. She was so knowledgeable and kind and I could see her passion for our similar interests. It was a perfect mix of traditional and modern culture exactly as advertised. I wish I could book her again for another maid cafe experience if she was free!!!
Wow, what an experience. Better than anticipated and a great way to experience the depth of culture of Tokyo. We would highly recommend. A day to remember.
