Enjoy the vibrant local markets, explore Hanoi Old Quarter with its hidden gems.
My itineraries are designed to bring you authentic experiences of Hanoi City neighbourhoods and major attractions such as local markets as well as an “off-the-beaten-path” glimpse of life in Hanoi and so many secret places that you would never find without a local.
At your hotel
"Hanoi - the capital of a thousand-year cultural cultivation" - the name always urges travelers to come to discover the cultural features that have been preserved for years until nowadays. Besides the historical relics, ancient houses, 36 street corners in the Old Quarter, local markets play a vital role in clearly showing the daily life of Hanoian. Hang Be Market is one of them.
Located in the heart of the Hanoi Old Quarter, Hang Be market is a familiar and beloved place for locals. The market is well-known for its delicious food, fresh produce, and plentiful spices. It is also popular for its socializing opportunities - a place where people from all walks of life can come together and have some fun.
The Dong Xuan Market is a large, non-touristy market in the Old Quarter of Hanoi that offers a wide variety of products at rock-bottom prices. From the market, I will show you alot of hidden aspects from old apartments, stores from collective economy to small alleys and little houses to truly understand and respect local lives.
I also take you to visit the war statutes from French time when they came back in winter 1946.
Long Bien was considered the pride, symbol of architecture in the Far East. The bridge was a connection point to transport tons of rice from Northern and Northern Central area of Vietnam to Dien Bien Phu battle, and contributed to the win of Vietnam army against French, 1954.
We are pround of the bridge because it is like a historical witness.
From here, we try the best BBQ pork with noodles and dipping sauce known as Obama's noodles.
If you are not a fan or pork, not worries, my menu can be customized upon your food restrictions.
The tour pefectly ends at a hidden coffee alley to try the original taste of Hanoi egg coffee from 1939.
After the tour, I will take you back to your hotel.
At your hotel

I had the pleasure of doing a food tour with Nhan, and it was an unforgettable experience. She knew all the best spots in the city and was able to tailor the tour perfectly to my preferences. Her flexibility in accommodating requests made the experience feel truly personalized. On top of that, she was warm, friendly, and a delight to spend time with—it felt like being shown around by a local friend. I highly recommend her tours to anyone looking for an authentic and enjoyable experience with a real licensed tour guide. I had a wonderful time and can’t wait to do another tour with her in the future! Thank you Nhan!
Nhan was our guide for a day in Hanoi and the whole family enjoyed a lot. She is knowledgeable, very good sense of time and flexible (she managed to squeeze also requests in the middle of the tour). She is very nice, attentive and tries to get everyone engaged. She also showed to us interesting off the beaten track aspects of Hanoi. A big plus her street food choices.
