I was born and grew up in Yokohama. I used to work in Tokyo for more than 20 years. I became the National Government Licensed Guide Interpreter in English in 2013. At first, I had attended a volunteer group which provided a tour of the Imperial Palace East Gardens until 2015. I guided more than fifty times in the garden as a volunteer and studied about Japanese history and culture. Based on this experience, I became a tour guide of this online site in 2015. Since then, I have guided more than 500 tours in Tokyo as well as Yokohama, Kamakura, Hakone, Kyoto, Nikko, etc., while improving my tours. My tours are very flexible and I always do my best to customize them according to the interests of my guests. I studied about the places and will provide you knowledge to appreciate them more deeply than just visiting there by yourself or a member of group tours. I like foods and I know many restaurants which provide typical Japanese lunch with reasonable price without waiting too long. Therefore, I am sure that I can provide you the best tours customized to your interests. It will be my great pleasure to help you to enjoy your stay in Japan. So please be my guest!!

Hi, I'm Dai, a national licensed tour guide for people from all over the world. I’m crazy about traveling around the world. I’ve backpacked in over 150 countries. So I'm proud of my traveling skills, flexibility and patience that I've ever experienced through my world-traveling. I do believe one of the most important thing for travelers is to " EXPERIENCE ", such as doing something new, extraordinary and something you've never done before. Also, I used to work at a hostel in Asakusa, so I'm quite familiar with Asakusa area. I'd love to help international tourists enjoy their stay in Japan. You can arrange your own itinerary as you like. Please feel free to contact me anytime, if you have any questions. I'm really looking forward to seeing YOU soon. Thank YOU.

Hi, I'm Yoko, a National License Tour Guide&International Kikisake-shi. I speak with an American accent, 'cause I lived in Seattle, Washington for six years in my childhood(3-9 years old). My tours might be better with people who LOVE TO WALK, have STAMINA and keen to learn about the culture. Now I live within a walking distance from Ueno Park, Tokyo, so I see a lot of International tourists walking around in my neighborhood every day. (PLEASE CHECK EACH TOUR. The expenses are spelled out, too.) "Tokyo is larger than we thought and the transportations are so complicated," Swedish guys told me. I'm here to help you. I know well about Tokyo, Yokohama, Yamanashi etc. and I travel most of the parts of Japan. I would appreciate if you could see more sightseeing spots with me as your guide and enjoy your stay. I love to answer your questions, even though I became nearly breathless when I was with American guests, a family of three, curiously asking me questions after questions:-) I appreciated their interest in Japan very much. I also go mountain trekking for nearly thirty years. I've been to the summit of Mt. Fuji and Mt. Kitadake three times. Talking about Mt. Takao, maybe more than fifty times. I hope we can enjoy the beautiful view together. I'm looking forward to seeing you soon and having a good time together. Hope to hearing from you soon.

I am looking forward to traveling Japan with you. Thank you.

Hello. I am Keiko, a nationally licensed tour guide for English-speaking tourists. I love traveling to new places, experiencing different cultures, and meeting new people. When I was young, I embarked on a long journey to explore more about my life. I settled in a small town in Illinois, USA, enjoying a new life while studying at the state university, and then moved to Florida to work for a while. After coming back to Japan, I have been working in downtown Tokyo since 2008, mainly as a translator and sometimes as an interpreter in various fields, including central government offices, TV stations, and a university. Seeing the increased opportunities around the Tokyo Olympics 2020, I transitioned into the tourism industry and am currently working as a tour guide, basically giving day tours of downtown Tokyo, Fuji & Hakone, Kamakura and Nikko. I love meeting people from different backgrounds, talking with them, and learning new things. That's why I enjoy hosting guests from abroad who want to explore Japan. Many local people helped me during my journey, and now it's time for me to give back. Come and meet me here; I will show you around amazing places in Japan.

Also, in the past, I visited Spain, Italy, England, France, Hungary, India, Canada, Korea, Taiwan, etc. So, if you are from one of those countries, you may ask me how I felt when I visited your motherland. :) Okay, thank you for reading my self-introduction to the end. I hope I have a chance with you!

Born and bred in Tokyo I am still living in the suburbs of Tokyo. I spent several years in the U.S. and the UK and wanted to show international visitors around Japan in return for the hospitality I had received in foreign countries. After coming back from the UK, I obtained the qualification of the National Government Licensed Guide Interpreter. I can guide guests to every corner of Tokyo including areas off the beaten track. Hello! I am Joji. Please call me Bonjoji, because Bon Jovi is one of my favorite Rock music groups. I was born and raised in Kyoto until 19 years old. I studied English and graduated from University of South Carolina with Statistic major. During my work at a precision equipment company, I have lived in California and New Jersey in the states for 12 years. While I was in the States, I have been treated as a family by many local American people. So, it is a time that I treat you back well while you are traveling in Japan. The period I like in Japanese history is the war period when many local lords were challenging and fighting each other to expand their lands. I recommend that you should see their castles, since you can see their ambition and their survival strategy. The sports I like are American football and Sumo. Sumo is not just a wrestling game but deeply rooted in Shinto ritual, which is closely related to our daily life. These are the things I can talk about more when we meet. My hobby is visiting old ruins in the world so that I have been to Vesa Merde in the States, Macchu Picchu in Peru, Easter Island in Chile, Volbilis in Morocco, Tikal in Guatemala, Angkor Wat in Cambodia and etc. I have worked at the Japanese company as a salary man for 35 years, so that I can also talk about business, only if you wish. Anyway, I am National Government Licensed English Guide Interpreter authorized by Japan Tourism Agency and my goal is simply to make your journey more enjoyable while you are in Japan. Please feel free to contact me and let's enjoy the tour together. Bonjoji

Great Private Narita Tour.

We had a long layover at the Narita airport. I found Go With Guide online a month earlier. I had never heard of it before but decided to give it a try. I was happy that I did. My daughter and I met Nobu S. at Keisei Norita station. We walked in and around the temple, park and streets. Nobu's english is good. He had good knowledge of the area and also visited some of the shops with us. I recommend this service and Nobu as your guide around Tokyo or Narita.

Nobu S.

Thank you very much for your review. I am glad to know that you enjoyed the tour. If you had more time, I could take you to several other areas such as Sawara, Sakura or even Tokyo. I am looking forward to meeting you again in the near future. Thank you again for having me as a guide. Nobu

A fun and interesting tour!

Nobu is an excellent guide with a friendly sense of humor. We had just enough time on our layover to see Naritasan Temple and the amazing gardens, to eat a delicious lunch including noodles, rice bowl and tender, tasty, grilled eel. He kept us on a tight schedule, seeing the most beautiful parts of the gardens, giving good explanations of the temple grounds, Buddhism and Shintoism, and even allowing a few minutes for souvenir shopping. I highly recommend Nobu!

Nobu S.

Thank you very much for your review. I am glad to know that you enjoyed the tour with me. Naritasan is an authentic and historically very important temple. It is possible for the tourists to visit by themselves, but I assume it will be more interesting if visiting with a good guide. Thank you again for having me as a guide. Nobu

Me and my daughter were super blessed and thankful we met and found Isao as our tour guide. He is very kind and friendly. He speaks english very well and is not hard to understand unlike other Japanese people. I highly recommend Isao as your tour guide. As we have saud, the stars aligned for us to meet.

Thank you very much for joining my tour. I'm delighted that you enjoyed it, Rosel-san. Personally, I had a great time walking and chatting with both of you, to the point where I forgot it was work. I sincerely appreciate the wonderful connection we've made. I truly wish happiness for you, Rosel-san, and your family. Hope you have a nice landing home.
