Either coming from Tokyo to enjoy one day tour, 2nd day coming from Mt. Fuji are to enjoy wider area of Mt. Fuji, Hakone cannot be missed since lots of attractions including grand scale view of Mt. Fuji wait for you. There are some package ticket available to enjoy the area and why not use such ticket to fully enjoy the area. However, it is true this area is much affected by the weather. Mt. Fuji visibility is highly dependent on the weather. But lots of museums in the area will not make you disappointed.

( ex. Shinjuku - Hakone Yumoto on ordinary train, 1,190 JP Yen/person ,
if ride on Romance Car (limited express) add 890 JP Yen/Person to 1,190 JP Yen)
2. Lunch for you and a guide's (up from 1,000 JP Yen/person dependend on what you order
3. Hakone Free Pass type of ticket for the area for you and a guide's
(ex. Hakone Free Pass purchased upon arrival- 4,000 JP Yen /person (ordinary payment 4,730 JP Yen) )
(ex. 2, Free rides on Pirate boats and Air Godola - 3,400 Yen (ordinary payment 4,250 JP Yen))
* You can purchase Hakone Free Pass including round trip trains for Shinjuku - Hakone Yumoto at 5,140 JP Yen)
There are variety of Pass type of tickets available.
4. Any entrance to any museums or any facilities for you and a guide's
5. Hotel pick-up in case your hotel is not in Hakone Area..from other area, additional pick-up charge and transportation will be added.
In case of guiding, dependent on the distance from where I live, I will add transportation costs ranging 1000 yen up to max. 8000 yen (also dependent on transportation type) in the whole tour price.
Boat operation on Lake Ashi, Air Gondola, the views of Mt. Fuji are highly dependent on the weather.

Yuji was awesome! He spoke great English and though their were eight of us he was very patient. He guided us up Mt. Fuji. In our group we had a couple that were having a hard time with the hike/ climb but he remained patient with us all. He also gave pointers for those struggling on how to breathe and properly utilize the oxygen and walking sticks. He also gave us heads up on upcoming changes in the terrain. As we descended through the typhoon he continued to motivate everyone until we made it safely back to the 5th station where we began. Thanks again for a great experience!

From the very beginning of the booking process, Yuji has been amazing. Beyond quick to respond to any questions/concerns I may have, he was always available to give feedback. As we got closer to the tour date, we knew weather might be a problem given it's rainy season in Japan but he was flexible in just seeing how the weather was morning of in case we needed to make alternative plans. With our luck, the weather cooperated with us and was sunny throughout and we were able to get a great view of Mt. Fuji as we drove up to the 5th Station. Yuji was very patient answering all of our questions and taking all the various group photos we wanted. He had great English and we felt we learned a lot from spending the day with him, not only about the places we saw but about some parts of the Japanese culture overall.
Dear Kirstin, Thank you again for having booked with me and I actually am glad we were blessed with the weather. It was good you were able to see Mt. Fuji, closer view from 5th station. We were able to cover very essences of the area from both cultural and natural sides. There are so much to see in the area. We could not go to two more lakes and I would add that they are beautiful as well. You may have added Mt. Fuji climbing for your future list and you can well prepare for that. When you can make it to the top. your heart will be filled with joy, excitement, and satisfaction. Nature is often severe but when you overcome, you feel super great. We had a lovely day with Yuji. It is the rainy season and we had some rain but we only opened our umbrellas once so we actually were lucky. Yuji took us around all 5 lakes at the base of Mt Fuji and to a beautiful shrine. He was very knowledgeable about the area. Lunch was amazing at a very traditional Japanese restaurant. I think we were the only foreigners there. Great experience. I would definitely recommend Yuji.
Dear Margit,, It was not a perfect day to enjoy the area. However, I am glad that you had some fun even in the rain. I have changed all plans due to the weather with your agreement but that could have been the best I could do to make your day valuable. I just hope you felt Mt.
